Competitive research profile
Óbuda University has 8 internationally recognized research, innovation and service centers including Antal Bejczy Center for Intelligent Robotics (iROB), Bio-Tech Research Center, Physiological Controls Research Center and SmartLab Center.
We currently have one of the most significant robotics research facilities of the region, which includes state-of-the-art infrastructure for medical, industrial and general service robotic applications.
Researchers collaborate in more than 20 EU scientific projects, the number of scientific publications is 1,200 yearly.

Óbuda University has approximately 12,000 students, over 500 are international students attending from 53 countries. Social life and student services are available to build social networks and may include professional hubs such as scientific workshops, media focus groups, info labs, student’s union, or math programming.
