Fees and Scholarships

If you wish to pursue your studies at our institution, there are a number of scholarship options available to choose from.

Tuition fees

All tuition fees must be paid prior to enrollment. Proof of payment via bank transfer will need to be presented. In cases of either late or partially paid tuition fees, the University reserves the right to refuse enrollment.

NOTE

  • Tuition fees are generally non-refundable.
  • Inquire in your bank if there is a handling fee for your money transfer to ensure that full tuition amount be transferred.

VERY IMPORTANT

Remember to write the student's name and registration number according to the Letter of Acceptance in the box "Information for beneficiary" when transferring the registration fee and tuition fee, otherwise payments may not be identified.

Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme

Stipendium Hungaricum is a scholarship program founded by the Government of Hungary in the spirit of its foreign policy „Opening to the East and to the South” in 2013 and is managed by the Tempus Public Foundation. The scholarship is based on a bilateral educational cooperation agreement signed between the Ministries responsible for education between the sending countries/and Hungary. Currently the sending countries include 76 countries accross 5 continents, attractingmore than 5000 international students each year.

Stipendium Hungaricum benefits are the following

  • Tuition-free education
  • Monthly stipend
  • Monthly accommodation contribution
  • Medical insurance

Please bear in mind that these provisions are only a contribution to the living expenses of the Scholarship Holders.

Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship Programme

The Hungarian Diaspora Scholarship was established by the Hungarian Government for those who live in a Hungarian diaspora outside of Europe and wish to study at a Hungarian higher education institution to develop their personal, professional and cultural relations to Hungary.

The next application period will start for the academic year of 2022/2023 in the course of autumn 2021.

Scholarship Programme for Christian Young People          

The core mission of the Scholarship Programme for Christian Young People (SCYP) is to provide the possibility of studying in Hungary for young Christian students living in the crisis regions of the world and/or being threatened in their country because of their faith.

SCYP benefits are the following

  • Tuition-free education
  • Monthly stipend
  • Monthly accommodation contribution
  • Medical insurance
  • Reimbursement of travel costs

Opportunities for HEI participants have a chance to undertake learning experiences generally for one or two semesters from a partner country within European Union supported by the Program.
